Liverpool football club will be looking for a new shirt sponsor before the start of next season.

Liverpool's twelve year association with Carlsberg is set to end at the end of the season when the Danish brewers' current contract runs out. Carlsberg are not interested in renewing the contract according to Liverpool Echo.

I think we should not get a sponsor, and simply go with a red shirt.

Their were rumours a while ago that Coca Cola were going to be our next sponsor, I'd love us to have a plain shirt but we need the money  :(

of course we need the money, and we need as much money as we can possibly get, so i hope we have some brilliant business negotiator assigned to this task of a new sponsor!

the only teams that could do without a sponsor are real madrid and chelski!

in a perfect world wed love to not have a sponsor but unfortunately in todays world we do need the money. dont think coca cola would look good tho, just american tack. cant we bring back crown paints? that was a smart top.
if not then id personally like us to get budweiser (american but not tack) or maybe chupa chups :p

budweiser wouldnt be a bad one, same type of colours and have a huge amount of money and advertising power!

we definitely need to be shrewd when making this decision though so i hope the board sort it out properly!

As long as the plain white lettering stays and it's not a huge badge like the Newcastle Brown Ale one on the Newcastle shirts of a few years back.  I'd love it if we could afford not to have a sponsor, though.

However, a new sponsor for a new era.  It's fair to say Carlsberg hasn't brought us the best of luck isn't it?

Would love to have "Guinness" in Liverpool's new shirt sponsorship next season.
