Looking at getting one done on my arm as well destro, been quoted 250AUD (about 100 quid) for design below. I've been toying with the idea since I was 18 tbh (am 21 now).

I'm still not sure about colouring. I've seen Liverpool tattoos with a lot of red and think they look tacky (the crest, like you said, with all the green etc is even tackier).  The one you have posted there is good. I'm thinking of going predominantly black, with perhaps some red outlining on the liverbird.

Any advice from people who've had liverpool tats before or just in general, would be greatly appreciated.

Tattoo design

The one I saw is virtually the same as the one I posted but it had a ball at its feet and it was lightly shaded round the edges in black, it was like a real bird with detail on the feathers instead of just the gaps like the one in the picture, I cant find it anywhere  :( . I am thinking of either on my chest or on my calf, I get to wear shorts to work and my boss and ALL the other lads I work with are Man U fans so if I go with the calf they will all have to look at it all day :D

Is it true that they wont do it if your bladdered ?

No point because when you get to a certain age and your skin starts to become rinkly the tattoo wont even be illegible anymore. itll look like the liver birds been squashed by two wavy buns by the time your 60+

I've got 3.
Liverbird in black on my chest, my wife's name on my right bicep and my son's on the left.

Smarts when they 1st start but somehow or other just feels a little numbe as they carry on.

I'd recommend that you forget bout colours... as the tatoo gets older, the colours don't look so good anymore.

got a tat of a sun/face thing on the inside of my ankle, didn't really hurt, just felt like intense "pins & needles". paid about £20 at tattoo jack's on west derby road 15 years back. it looks a bit sh*t but i don't really give a monkeys as no fecker can see it unless i'm on the beach

so many people have tats these days, just been on holiday and every second bloke seemed to have the obligatory ethnic design on their arms. i reckon it's more of an expression of individuality these days to NOT have one

Here's probably the best pic of my tat, I plan on getting more added on to it..... Eventually.

The pain is bearable destro, infact after a while I quite like it.

As for the beans, there my one and only speciality.
