They were aimed at young girls when they first arrived on the scene, but tbf I don't like their early manufactured sh*te.
You listen to their "Millenium", "Black and Blue" and "Never Gone" albums with an open mind, and call them .
Because I'll call you a liar.
There is more to music than sounding as though you're in pain when growling some 2-note ditty about how stoned you got while doing some tramp.
Beforfe anyone chirps up with the old pearl "But they don't play their own instruments" - you're wrong. They are all accomplished musicians, and each played their respective genre in concert. Piano, drums, guitars, etc.
They really are brilliant, and if you're secure in your own sexuality - you will probably agree.
2nd - Elvis Presley. The King. Nothing more to add.
3rd - Savage Garden. Far too good to have finished after only 2 albums. I really hope they patch up their differences and get back to making brilliant songs.
4th - Bon Jovi. Classic tunes.
5th - The Carpenters. Karen Carpenter had the best female voice of any famous act. Such a waste of vocal brilliance.
Lando, you forgot Erasure, the Communards and Marc Almond!!
Feckin' hell there's a lot of musty headbangers on this forum!!
"BIGGER??.... I'M NOT 'AVIN' THAT!.... TELL ME WHO'S BIGGER THAN LIVERPOOL???" - Jamie Carragher.
Drummer, gone but never forgotten!
