Its allready been done mate.  The potition had about 5 hundred signed for GH out. It was done on the official msg board.

I voted Dalglish, but Barnes and Rush would be ideal

I think if Ranieri was sacked at the end of the season, Liverpool should get him. That guy would surely have a thing or two to prove to his detractors & of cos, Abramovich. Otherwise, it would be great if Mourinho takes over Houllier. he's the next up & coming European coach, great tactical ability...what else does Rick Parry need to hand the managerial post to him?

what has oneill done in the game, did well with leicester they had no expectations and he had no money to spend!
at celtic its easy playing in that league with only two half decent teams in it, he went on some good runs in europe, cos its easy to motivate your players for big matches every three or four weeks can he do it against big clubs week in week out, again had no money to spend!
he has never made any big signings therefore who is to say he would make good choices with a big budget!

im not too sure bout this guy, he is being praised and has done very little to impress me!

ranieri's tactics are up his a#se u saw what happened against monaco he makes worse tactical decisions than houllier so we would be making the situation worse if we got him! bringing on hoyt or whatever that big streak of misery is called at right midfield when he is a centre back was crazy and worse than houlliers decisions!

Martin O' Neill.

Maybe we should resurrect the old threads rather than start a new on?

Barnes was an absolute disaster at Celtic and he will never get a coaching job in Europe again.

Has anyone ever thought of Gianluca Vialli?

I think with the right second in command that Luca would make an excellent manager. I also beleive his position as a true great would influence the type or rather quality of players we would attract.

Good Idea JBG, however I firmly beleive GH will be in charge come September. For how long after is another question altogether.

Would love Mourinho, think he is the most promising manager in the world at the moment.
He has turned Porto into one of the best sides in Europe with not a lot of money. Many players have flourished under him and are now quality players like Deco, Derlei and Benni McCarthy.
He also has a lot of passion, and hates Fergie and probaly Man Utd.   :D

However if you believe the reports, he is off to Chelsea, meaning we could take Ranieri.

MO'n would also be good, but as Leon said Houllier is likely to be here for the forseeable future, so by the time Houllier goes these guys probably would have been snapped up by other clubs.

Lippi is leaving Juve at the end of the season apparently to spend time with his family but i think he would be tempted back into the game if the right offer came along.

King Kenny, I can't see him coming back to mangerial work anytime soon. I would be happy for him to be manager gain but it is unlikely.

But for now I think we just gonna have to put up with Houllier and see what he does in the tranfer market in the summer and what happens in the first bit of next season, if we are still struggling then I think the board will look at a new manager but I doubt any sooner unfortunately.
