Rafa has an ace up his sleeve.We will have our players signed after the weekend.Hopefully they sign ham salad sandwich and lukas Sinkyoubitch(Cologne centre half) along with the return of the son of god.

I do love the way he's playing the owen situation, his lack of english is a blessing when dealing with the press, far more appealing than the jose M, and nobby Solano? good player but i'd probably rather see luis Garcia stay out there, not ideal i know...

Rafa speaks english than most of us but when it comes to the press he goes into pigeon english, pure class. If you don't want to say anything........then don't!

After the lack of cutting edge against Sunderland & CSKA Sofia I wouldn't be surprised to see RAFA go and get both OWEN & Kuyt as well as a defender and as it now looks like Stelios from bolton (don't ask me to spell his surname:D ).

It's starting to get a bit worrying now....we still need a central defender and a right midfielder and we have only 9 days left before the end of the transfer deadline.  Rafa has said that if he can't get who he wants he will wait until January, but I'm hoping he can get the players he wants before the end of this month hopefully. 

Does anybody know whether playing in the Inter-Toto cup ties a player from playing for another club in Europe?  Andrade played for Deportivo against Newcastle, so if we do manage to sign him, we may not be able to play him in the Champions League...

We can't wait until January the title race may be over by then. We should have tabled a bid for Sol Campbell and had Carra and Sol at the heart of defence. And I know I keep harping on it but we need to sign Michael Owen. 20 goals a year in the premiership much better for us than for someone else.
