i dont like baros but will be happy if we sign him as he is better than what we have and is also better than peter crouch

Takes his chances on a shots to goals ratio (this one is a guess but surley Crouchs shots to goals record will be better)

i remember crouch at villa, big clumsy cart horse,he had a decent run at the saints but it doesnt make him a great player all of a sudden....
yes baros is as well.

he wont look up
would shoot from a tight angle even if a team mate would have an open goal if he passed it

Again no real comparisons made but to call him a clumsy carthorse is way off.
First touch between Crouch and Baros is no contest.
Pace Baros might have, ability to maximise pace to create goals or chances 25% baros.
Awareness 0 %.
Baros is still a LIVERPOOL player not bl@e Sh@te, so i will continue to support him if selected, he would make a useful sub.
But he is still better than anything else you have got.

Last season was one to forget for Baros, although not entirely his own fault, he was often our only fit striker available and tried his hardest whenever called upon. You could not ask for a more willing runner than him, and perhaps with some coaching and some belief he could be more of a team player.

Remember he set up Gerards pen in the CL final and played up front on his own for most of it, hes still young and definatley has the potential to be succesful here. So far he has 6 goals in the pre season games, and he hasnt played any of the CL ones, hes the top scorer so far with 6 and has looked sharp. I for one would keep him. If he goes we would have to replace him IMO, as Pongolle and Mellor are not classy enough. Maybe if owen was to come back in his place that wouyld be fair enuff or somone else of that standard.

I wont resort to slagging off bl@es being on this forum as you havent said anything to rile me (just stupid stuff with no real meaning, point or argument)
But if you make a statement like that...why not back it up ?
Like i think Beattie is better than Crouch cos although he is smaller he is ALOT heavier.
Or because he can chew chewie all match without swallowing it when cough RUNNING ??
