Riley ref for Liverpool v Watford

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ciggy » Mon Jan 24, 2005 10:26 am

Why is he refereeing this game  We should stand our ground and refuse for him to referee another Liverpool game . He hates our guts always has done, and after the chelsea game he should be banned to ref another game and should go to the 2nd division  Cant stand this man unbelievable  .

Mike Riley of West Yorkshire will take charge of the second leg of the Carling Cup Semi-Final between Watford and Liverpool at Vicarage Road.

This will be the first time our paths have crossed since his New Year’s Day performance at Anfield against Chelsea where he failed to award two penalties and was wildly criticised in the media afterwards.

I don't think that's fair. The 2nd division has some very fine referees. Now if you said the Ryman's premier, I might agree with you. I think that if you look up tw*t in the dictionary, it should have his picture.

It's decissions like this that make you wonder how much a sniper riffle and a helicopter cost. Could it really be too much?  :D

Riley is indeed an incompetent f*cking turkey, however - he knows he dropped a b*llock or two on new years day and subconsciously will give us a few decent decisions tomorrow to make up for it

Not that we should need any of that against Watford, if we can't beat them comfortably without the ref's assistance then we really ARE doomed

get over it, dont be balming the referee, i think watford will fancy there chances against us 2moro, and they will get right amongst us from the start and just walk past hyypia and pellegrino for all they are worth

After Carragher,Didi and JAR got in his face I doubt that he will go against us. Especially Carra because he looked like he was going to take Riley by the neck and throw him across the pitch. Riley probably p1ssed his pants at that moment.

Hyypia is injured therefore he can't play.

Of course Watford will play out of their skins but we are technically superior to them in every position and it's about time we showed it

First half will be a tight battle but I can see us being too much for them in the 2nd half

certainly not against Burnley cos we fielded a weakened side. Southampton? God knows what happened there, I can't think of any explanation other than we were just plain sh*te  :(

Lack of passion, determination and confidence. I don't care how good a footballer you are but without those three things you're worthless, ask Kewell.
