Of all the summers, (about 8) I've spent viewing LFC transfers, I don't think I've ever been so surprised by a transfer. This was completely out of the blue. Hope this guy is the real deal.

Would appear Ajax were in pole position to sign the lad but when it fell through
we nipped in and got him.

Its one of them were we will be hammered for signing cheap players now and last
year we got panned for paying too much but just another day being a Liverpool
fan, we cant win

Good thing we're singing players on positions that we really need. Now, I wonder how good will he be. Doubt he'll be great but I'm guessing he'll be good enough for the cups and the Europa league.

to be completely honest here, i've seen loads of people say back to the liverpool way, cometely under the radar with no press rumours... well there's a reason for that.... No one's ever heard of him!

If we sign Sahin or Tello or Dempsey... usually story.

If Arsenal or spurs bought someone noone had ever heard of I bet it wouldnt be reported in the press either.

I hope he ends up being as good as Hyypia and Arbeloa who both cost a similar amount. I know nothing about this lad, so I'm really curious to see what he can do in a Liverpool shirt.
