What does the flamingo at the centre of the Liverpool logo stands for.?. Any opinion.?. And why is the flamingo biting a sort of leaf.?..

that's seaweed it's holding it's mouth, and as others have said it's a Liverbird. A mythical bird from Liverpool, which is commonly believed to be a cross between a Cormorant and an Eagle.

Isn't it obvious? It's in tribute to Jan Molby.

Flamingo's after all are really sensitive to remarks about their weight.
