Sadly I have to agree with your assertion(s), maybe Kuyt isn't one of our all-time greats, but if the rest of the "superstars" in the team so much (over)rated on here were to put in half the effort of Kuyt, perhaps we wouldn't lose to the bottom side........................ Cause if they were trying and we still got beat then they must be just as :censored:as some claim Kuyt is.

There have been too many legends in my lifetime, my FAVOURITES would have to be King Kenny, Barnes and Fowler, but I could mention loads of legends. In threads like this the question is often lost in translation as people seem to be naming greats and not necessarily favourites. Keane might be someone's favourite player, one on here definitely defended him with some ridiculous claims, but it's not about whether he was a success or great.

For all time fav's  Im going to go with Ronaldo (Brazilian), Maradona, Owen, Redondo, Fowler .. in that order...

From the newer generation Liverpool players i'd go with: X.Alonso, Gerrard....

I've got to vote for an old timer, Gordon Gunson who made 87 Appearances, and scored 26 Goals for Liverpool F.C from 1930 to 1934

he scored against Everton in the 3rd round of the F.A Cup in 1932

and besides that....he was my grandfather

World player.. Zinedin Zedan, Johan Cruff, Tony Adams.

Its a hard question..

John Barnes was the most exciting player I ever saw for LFC (Beardsley second) and Aldo was my favourite.

Greatest player ever - Maradonna (Even Barnes said he was no where near Diego's level).

Its a hard question..

Zidane isn't fit to carry Maradonna's jockstrap.

It's got to be Henry for me.  He used to just float on the field with the ball.  The man had unbelievable ball control.
