Hi all, been looking about for a forum full of reds and this one looks top.

Just a little about me - I was named after Ian Rush who scored twice against the blue noses on May 10 1986, the day of my birth. I've been brought up a Liverpool fan and forever will be.

My favourite Liverpool player since I can remember has to be Robbie Fowler, yes there have been better wearing the red top but during the time I've been around to watch and for natural ability Fowler did it every time in my opinion. Not to sure whats happened to him now and it's a big shame things went like they did.

There have been better players about since I've been watching Liverpool but the reason for Fowler being my favourite is that when I was younger growing up it's Fowler I had on the back of my tops each season, home and away (excusing one season where I had Mcmanaman). These memories seem to stick with you and the Fowler goals he scored meant a lot, how average or great they were each one brings back the memories and makes my hair stand on the back of my neck.

I'll be posting on here for a long time I hope and will be here to discuss the highs ahead.

That day you were born was the day I started my relationship with Liverpool. It is the earliest game I can vividly remember. I still have the grainy episode of Grandstand on video that we taped that day. I was six years old. When I watch it, I know most of Motson's commentary before he has even said it. I have seen that game more than I have seen another 90 minutes of football. I can name you both starting 11's, the substitutes, who sat on the bench injured, the referee's name (Alan Robinson), the two linesmen's name (Allan Gunn and Robbie Hart), the lot, the time on the clock when the goals were scored, (27, 57, 63 and 84 if you're interested), you name it. I love that FA Cup final........
