I think Badbob got it right when he said it was like a little family on here. We bicker and fall out, but when someone disappears for a while it gets noticed and sometimes they are even missed.
And while no one is probably anything like the image they project in their posts (Ciggy is probably a six foot docker, and I know for a fact that Dawson is really a sexy blond scottish bird with enormous breasts) it makes reading posts a little more personal and less like you are just reading some strangers opinion.
Maybe you want Ciggy to be a 6ft docker, and maybe you certainly want Dawson to be a blond with big t*ts. Though he certainly may be, but not the sort of t*ts you're after. Or maybe they are of the fake variety, and the meat and two veg was left on. Who knows.

its like you cant say you are not going to continue a conversation... by saying that you have continued it... yes?
everytime we miss a smiley we are pounced on... I remember how the meaning of words began to change. How unfamiliar words like "collateral" and "rendition" became frightening, while things like Norsefire and the Articles of Allegiance became powerful. I remember how "different" became dangerous. I still don't understand it, why they hate us so much.
