Bollock.s is it. They are all brilliant seasons. Why are you always saying this season is the best ect... I don't think many would skip a particular season if they were seriously into the show to start with.

I think Sopranos season 6 would have something to say about that.  :eyebrow

Sopranos was awful, i cold never get into it. it just seemed like dynasty or something...

the wire was always awesome, even season 2.

Best season of tv ever? Id say season 3 of West Wing, or 1 of 24... dunno tho, it's too  early and my head is still sspinning

I've been watching 'Life on Mars' with Gene Genie & co.

Then started watching the follow up series of it 'Ashes to Ashes', its a great Pomy show with some great humour. Well worth a watch!

sorry maybe I should have included some qualifiers. The Wire scale exists on its own plane above all the other scales that are normally used to judge other television shows. To rate the different seasons of the wire is like the Gods of Olympus trying to see who was more powerful. At the end of the day they are all immortal.

I thought the last season of the wire was the weakest... maybe we are so used to the blaze of glory endings when it sort of fizzles out its a bit of a letdown... just think it could have ahd more oomph, and the journalist side of things was a little stupid... still awesome tho

the wire just rocked. end of. fact. lost is still great for being in a world of its own but its been dragging on for too long.

i just started watching battlestar galactica again from the beginning after getting sidetracked about half way through season 1 about a year ago. i've completely forgotten what i'd worked out about the weird doctor guy and his imaginary (?) cylon blonde.

With a show like the wire there is not supposed to be massive ending. Things continue as they were with some people moving on....
