i was born in the north west, my mum is from london. I moved away supported other teams, (lived and worked in various places), then through some mates got back into Liverpool. So think there is alot of north-south rubbish in football, which obviously grates me privately.
The london papers seemed to stoke the fixture up before hand (i didnt even see the match, when i saw the news it was just "well i guess thats what you would expect from millwall"). Most london people i know, supporters of smaller and bigger teams that have played them, say they (millwall) are a grim team (supporters, whole club included). If they said what they did i'm ashamed the london police havent dealt with them better.
