i remember some time back in a newspaper article, that in RIO a mass grave was found in Brazil containing bones of slaves

BTW I'm only asking this because I've a mate who has just come back from there and he was told this while visiting the place.

Its obviously disputable, but interesting and fairly obvious.

Burjennio has been closest so far.

Crete, I know I said I had given up but I remember reading once that a huge grave had been discovered on crete.

its in cairo egypt

a mass grave of workers from ancient times was discovered. not sure of the details

brazil one is close though in terms of single mass grave i reckon
