did u know that the trabant was made from compressed cardboard andy

i didn't know that. so i went and got this info from t'web.


They are made from Duraolast which is a plastic resisn related to Formica and Bakalite and it is reinforced with cotton fabric.


a cardboard one would be hilarous in a rain storm :laugh:

ok AA - i found evidence that the trabant was indeed made of a form of laminated cardboard. I WANT ONE! imagine - you could customise it using super glue and some old porn flakes - i mean corn flakes boxes. :D
