Woolly, why don't you stay with Ford and uprage to a Focus RS?

Oh, and don't push your car by the rear window like said, it was only a joke. :D :D :D

too expensive mate, parkers.co.uk reckons over £14k for a good condition private sale, plus living in manchester means the insurance would be about 50 grand a year and it would be only a matter of days until i got car-jacked

so no, it ain't gonna be an RS i don't think  :(

Probably a bit of both.  :D

Then again, I'm not particularly tall.  :D

Yeah, the Modus is not exactly blessed with looks but there are worse looking cars out there.

I think the new Focus is far from beautiful, and some of the Hyundais and Mitsubishi's are mank.

Most new cars are fairly stylish these days, however.

the new focus is so dull it's ridiculous, it's the motoring equivalent of a beige cardigan

i think at the moment the best looking smallish car is probably the megane although obviously not everybody's cup of tea. The new 2 door astra (sports coupe or whatever they call it) is nice too

hmmm.....    i think the saab 9-3 is favourite to end up on the drive of woolly towers now, a little over budget but good resale value offsets that. a mate of mine has the 9-3 aero with 210bhp and it's a glorious car

you can't go far wrong with a saab - top quality work, nice to drive and a bugger to nick.

i was planning on buying one andy, not nicking one :D  oh i see what you mean :D

having said that, the mate of mine who has the monster version had it robbed - 3 scrotes with balaclavas and machetes smashed his front door down whilst he was watching tv with his kids and demanded the keys, 3 days later it was used in an armed robbery on a petrol station in rochdale and found abandoned in (surprise surprise) salford.
the car was undamaged apart from a few scrapes here and there but Dean was shaken up for months after it happened, not nice at all  :no

I don't think the new Focus is that bad, but the old style one definitely better looking in my opinion.

If I get myself sorted out this year I might go far a Toyota Supra, originally I was planning for an Escort Cosworth but they are a bit old, not to mention most Jap car's have more power standard than that of the tuned Cossie's!!

you wanna speak to Paul C about japanese fast cars, he's the man for tweaking even more power out of them
