Always saddens me to see the League Cup so devalued these days.

Have such vivid and fond memories of that 1983 Milk Cup win over Mancs with that Whelan curler. The league titles were normally wrapped up by Christmas and we never had much luck in FA Cup late 70s/early 80s (Arsenal semi final).

Life and football was more simple then, pre horrors of Heysel and Hillsborough, before drought of 90s and mad money of 00s.............oh :censored:

In it boring
