I must warn you though, that I'm not a softy. When I was told that I was cráp for football, I started Judo (and handball)and quite liked it, practiced i for 13 years.

when u were told u were cr@p at football, shouldnt u have practiced that for 13 years instead? they would have been your 'wonder years'

I practiced it but at a mate level. Lads play a lot of football here (which is something that is being lost with so many gameboyadvances), but usually we play "indoor football" (but in the street) 5 against 5, not real footie. We also play a lot of beach footie. The secret of players of San Sebastian is that until you're 10 or 11, you don't play in a real pitch but the beach. The competitions are in the beach. This makes the knees and legs stronger. Both Xabi Alonso, and Prieto and Arteta played in the beach for instance.

It was quite a big blow for me. Imagine, you buy the RS shirt, the boots you want to reach your fav team, and you'r told with 9 or 10 years that you won't be playing in the school team. :down:

They would allow me to train anyway, but as that's quite a shame most of us who didn't make it start to play other sports, mainly handball and basketball.

Oops…. Alguien está teniendo un día muy malo, por la mirada de ella. No es compañero grande o listo. el venir en el hilo de rosca alguien que es español y de fingimiento ser un nuevo miembro del foro que es también españoles. En cuanto a ser un tit…. ¡Eres grande!! Pero por lo menos admites eso. Toma a persona grande para hacer eso…. A propósito, te pensé donde yéndose….¿ :laugh:
