If they done it they are the best actors Ive ever seen.

Breaking news on Sky Madeleines body was in the boot of the car 5 weeks later the DNA match is 100%  :oh:

Don't know what to make of that.

It depends on the source of the DNA - that would reveal significantly more. It could be that the Mccans' clothing, baggage or the like were carrying her DNA, even if the car was hired five weeks after her disappearance.

No police have said her body was in the boot post mortem DNA 100% match not from an object but a body and traces of DNA inside the car.
The windowsill and floor of the apartment.

I guess we'll see what happens then.

I've just seen the article, this part is key:

""The evidence suggests very strongly that it was not that her DNA had been transferred from clothing or from a cuddly toy.

"The allegation is that the DNA shows a full match of 99%. According to police, it shows the presence of Madeleine's body in the boot of the family's hire car five weeks after she disappeared."

Since we don't know the exact detail[s] that 'suggests very strongly' a link to Madeleine's body being in the boot of the hire car, it would be hard to judge - it may just be a question of interpreting the evidence. In their view it strongly suggests a link to her body, in the view of another forensic expert this may differ - it may be feasible for example that the DNA could have been transferred. *Who knows if they've attained a range of expert opinions, I hope they have though. The Portuguese Police rely on forensics, and we rely on the Portuguese Police.

*I don't think it's safe to assume they have cross-checked the evidence with a number of authoritative experts given a) their track record so far and b) the example in the case of Bob Woolmer (although this was a case of analysing the cause of death, as opposed to DNA analysis).

British police carried out these tests with the cadaver dogs there was a clip on ITV news earlier of Eddie the dog in a car that was burned out going balistic where the person had died, these same dogs went balistic in the apartment and the car.
The police showed the Mccanns the videos of the dogs reaction and they couldnt explain it, hence the auntie Phil from scotland "the dogs fitted them up" she said  :D

How can the dogs set them up thats ridiculas these dogs cost 600 pound a day each and have been in Portugal for weeks now.

Also on the ITV news it showed where the DNA was found under the upholstery in the boot by the reserve wheel.

Big question is though where was her body the whole time?
I can imagine it would have been stinking also its a mystery alright.

If they are guilty crime of the century and whilst accidental death won't send you to hell, surely having an audience with the Pope and lying to him will.

The bit I dont understand is, how with all the Photographers following their EVERY move did they not only move her body from where ever they had hidden it, but move it into the boot of a hire car with out one single person seeing them.

Even if they had wrapped it in a blanket, suit case or some sort of bag, some local rag would have published the pictures saying "Is this the moment Maddie's body was being moved"

Edit -I should have used words like allegedly and supposedly but couldn't be bothered.

Yer  :D

Cant believe they want the fund to pay to clear their names for the expenses of their lawyers Michael Caplan and Angus McBride the firm also represented former Chilean dictator General Pinochet in his fight to avoid extradition to Spain on torture charges.

Other high-profile clients have included TV presenter Matthew Kelly over child sex abuse allegations, England football captain John Terry over an alleged London pub brawl and actor Chris Langham for child pornography and indecent assault charges.

That fund was to find Maddy not pay to get them off the hook.  :glare:

The media actually wasnt always around them. There would have been plenty of times that one of them could have got away. There is also the possibility there's a third party involved.

They would still of had to at some stage taken her out of the pram( if she was hidden in it ) to get her in the boot. Look at the photographers in the pictures, and that is just them pushing prams, they would of been followed everywhere ?

I don't think the Maddy fund will be used for their legal defence.

Manhattan can't figure this whole thing out. The cops said that Maddy's DNA was found in a hire car. I wonder if they killed her, either intentionally or accidentally, then stashed her someplace, then hired the car and moved her in the boot.

I wonder where her body is now?
