Honestly, can people quit demanding "Lock this thread" etc from the mods?

If you don't like the subject matter of a thread, don't read it and don't post in it.

Its becoming more and more common and its annoying. People complain about moderators curbing free speech yet members are all too quick in demanding threads they don't like to be locked or deleted.

I wouldn't mind only there hasn't really been particularly inflammatory stuff in this thread. If we cannot talk about important issues then why bother have a forum?
