I'll admit I haven't been too bothered to engage lately because it feels like the club's pretty much in a holding pattern at the moment. Which is actually fine after all of the turmoil and upheaval of the last few months. After all that, it feels great to be finally rid of the cowboys and have stability in the board room. And of course it's great that we've got Kenny back in the managerial saddle. But, on the flip side, we've probably climbed about as high as we're going to in the table this season and, try as I might, I just cannot get energized by the Europa League. Having beaten the Mancs and Chelsea recently, I can't escape the feeling that the rest of the season will be a bit of a damp squib. Of course, I'm thrilled that Suarez looks the business and that Carroll's finally fit so watching them bed in keeps me glued to every match feed but there doesn't seem to be all that much to really discuss on here of late and I'm not sure I see that changing until the silly season roles around again.

The place has been very quiet lately, because of that when people do log on they see that nothing is happening on here so they just go elsewhere on the net (youporn!). I think St Michael may have a point, we have all the Official threads and because of that the forum always looks the same, the same topics. I originally had the idea for all the Official threads, it works on bigger forums and in fairness it does reduce a lot of the clutter but maybe for a while we should go back to the old style. We can always go back if it turns into a mess.
I agree with this
could we go to discussing key incidents from matches in separate threads and things like that?
Might at least pick up some discussion anyway...

It would be something Bad Bob and a few of the mods would have to okay as it would be them who would have to merge threads, but i think its worth a go

Its decorating season, people are busy decorating ! well, we are at least. I havent been on as much as , same as everyone else, been pretty busy. As well as decorating I have the @ssholes at working links to deal with as well as the jobcenter, funny how they work, quick to stop my money slow to attend to my appeal.
We have decorated upstairs, now the downstairs, only one side of the wall is falling off and is covered with mold in one corner, or, according to the council, not mold, condensation ! I have a few more grey hairs coming....
So the decorating has had to stop for now until the wall is plastered and the "condensation" is sorted out. Which pleased my boy as he has his room back to throw his toys. Another problem I still have with him is this:
Christian.
As the vid shows, he is toddling and has a problem with determining whether I am mum or dad, he has made his choice, I have to live with it !

After all the petty nasty ego driven Rafa/Roy squabbles that dominated this place before Christmas and stretched back into the previous season ended with Roy's demise.
There was always going to be a lull, a lot of posters got sick of all that malarky. Im sure the place will pick up especially when the new season starts.
That is my first guess, my other theory which I think is far more plausible is that shoddy way in which LMS competition has been run which has left me struggling in mid table has had people leaving in disgust

Yep, this hits the nail on the head. One minute he is poster of the year the next he single handedly destroyed the forum.

I just think the soul was sucked out of the site when some of the decent fun lot went. I'll post every now and then but not really anymore.
But i wont post on RAWK, those muppets are more boring than Benny
