Everyone's different I guess but I don't truly care for anyone famous. I have favourite athletes, singers, actors etc and more important than them is the politicans I respect and admire (few though) but as they are all strangers that don't know me, I won't shed a tear for them.

Dunno, people die every day, just because shes in the paper every day for being a racist/reality tv star we need to be more compassionate?

gutted that anyone has to go through that but dont affect me at all sorry.

She's hardly the only person to ever do charity, plus with the money she had she just did what every person should do.

If as much money was invested into curing these diseases than is spent on defence systems we may actually have a cure. I don't mean to refer to comedy when talking about something so serious but I remember hearing something on a Chris Rock show. He was questioning why after so many years there is still no cure and only after so long they just about found a cure for Polio? He said it was because there is more money to be made in treating compared with how much could be lost if they really did cure it. Kind of makes you wonder.

I work in the military and some of these defence systems and rockets and missiles have saved mine and other people in the military and civilains lives.

Im not saying dont spend money on defence but im just pointing out that a lot is spent on it compared with other things.

well i think in the end the oylmpics will bring in a lot of money - just an inital big outlay - the last couple of olympics have earnt each country billions

I know, lets stop giving money to 3rd world countries and lets stop spunking money on homing fking foriengers over here and lets put that money towards the cure of cancer or other serious illnesses. This government is fking bent. Im ranting now, Im going off on one here folks, the lass is gonna get it when I get home. :angry:
