Didn't watch series 1 or 2 but I have seen some of series 3 and I thought it was w3nk

Skins is for kids!!!
Shameless rocks, the writing just gets better and the performances of the younger memebers of the cast are excellent, totally matching those of the more experienced actors (David Threlfall etc)

I think Skins is brilliant!! I look forward to a Thursday nights now. Its something for me to watch when I get home from college. I think Sid is one of the best characters. I really feel for Chris and Cassie. They have some major issues going on. Bring it on. One of the best things on the telly at the moment.........................

next to CSI and Ugly Betty!!! :laugh:

British comedy is top class. Much better than any Irish cr*p we try to do except for this one show, a made for TV 90 minute film on every few months, where 10 guys with no co-ordination are put onto a pitch and made run after a ball. Sometimes they put Steve Finnan on with them just so you can see how bad the others are. Its a bit like Jackass, real car crash TV. Steve Staunton goes to watch it live but obviously isn't much of a fan although he tries to defend it in public. Hilarious though in a tragic comedy way.
