Yeah, true.  I frequently see Liverpool kits around town...more so than most other sides, with perhaps the exception of Arsenal.

As for marketing Liverpool in N. America, I don't think it's a primary concern for the club but you'd be surprised what having a big name star in your side can do.  If Stevie has a big World Cup don't be surprised if a few more people join the ranks--which could be a boon or a disaster depending on your views!  :laugh:

With regards to the movie, I thought I heard something about it being between Newcastle and Man U and that it came down to which club's sponsor, Adidas or Nike, would be sponsoring the movie.  In the end, Adidas sponsored it and so Newcastle was the team chosen to be portrayed.

i hope they never to a similar movie involving LFC.
Goal was laughable.
Our promotion should be done on the pitch and in the trophy room.
