heard lots of calls for it never to be shown live again, until this race i would have said that was silly, but this year me my wife and six year old daughter sat down in front of the tv to see it, they had been talking about it her at school, we was very luck as she turned away just as the bad shot of the horse landed on its head and did not see that one, she saw the other one but did not say anything, it was lucky the bbc did not say anything about dead horses when they next comes to them fences or i would have had a very upset daughter. i dont think i will let her see it next year.
i one way i think it was bad that the bcc did not say anything about the dead horses.....but looking back it good they did not and i think they know that children will see the race and thats why they did not say about it.

The BBC should have mentioned something, but these horses are looekd after better than most of us, and absolutely love what they do. Trust me, if they didn't want to jump, they wouldn't. Not to show the race is an absolute joke. It's probably the BBC's way to stop paying for yet another thing so they can raise tv licence fees again and not spend money, just more for the coffers.
It would be best if BBC did get rid of it and it went to a decent channel I say. Let BBC keep green bowls. I'd actually quite happily not pay alicence fee, and not have any bbc channels, but of course the tv nazis won't let you do that.
Anyways, good race, i came out about evens so cant complain
