That program was absolute nonsense, as both an appraisal of a conspiracy theory and a vindication of the official record. The whole thing was a complete strawman.

The most damning part, however, was the fact that Blair came out and blamed "muslims" 8 hours after the bombings, even though Scotland Yard clearly stated that they had absolutely no evidence to show that.

Agree with the Tony Blair comment.

But what I took most out of it was every single conspirator they interviewed were absolute nutcases.

The first bloke was a holocaust denier, and his subsequent claims against the fake CCTV image was blown right out the water when they released the actual footage.

The second man (who made the "7/7 Ripple Effect" dvd), a hippie lookalike from Ireland - was the self professed messiah who used the pseudonym Muad Dib to convince the Muslim population that the four apparent bombers were framed. Problem was Police found evidence not only at the scene of the crime but also at home addresses. The most damning being jihad videos.

The problem is that on the face of it the video seems convincing. But as soon as you see both sides of the story you see it has been concocted to destabilise relations with the Muslim population.

I don't believe there was a conspiracy but they police don't do themselves any favours when they blatently lie. When they shot the brazilian guy the lied 100% about what happened and the media went along with it. Therefore I can understand why muslims might believe it. Also - getting the train information (the transport the bombers used to get into London) wrong was really stupid.

Oh - and the guy from Ireland was an English guy living in Ireland.

It was funny to see people showing a van from some explosives company as evidence of the conspiracy, as if MI5 would use a van with "explosives" written in huge writing on it.

What about what the bus... Some slogan said terror or something... LOL that day many buses had that label on them.. Was about a movie at that time which was at cinemas i think...

I feel the 9/11 conspiracies are by far more interesting and in depth than the 7/7 ones...

As far as I know, only this TV program has introduced the 'Controlled Demolition' van as "evidence" of conspiracy. Ditto with the word "Terror" on the side of the bus.

They were complete non-sequiturs thrown into the mix. Strawmen.

However, I must say, that I find the general poo-pooing of conspiracy these days to be somewhat disturbing. It's not as if organisations, like governments, don't conspire, whether it is a relatively innocuous political ambush, to pushing a blatantly false case for war.

Governments conspire all the time. It's part of the political brief.
