nasty ways was always one of my fave tracks. at least, once you get past the intro...

No seriously I used to like all the dark and nasty stuff, well I still do. But at the other end of the Spectrum I like 'intelligent DnB' The Bukem stuff you know, If you havent listened to Photeks 'rings around Saturn' have a listen and tell me what you think I love that tune. One of his best I reckon, nice and mellow, pretty tranquil where nice thoughts run through you're mind type of thing.

consider yourself on trial. thing is bam, we get on each other's tits on the forum from time to time but i'm sure we'd sink a few beers and have a laugh in real life. this forum is a bag of sh!te as a reflector of how people would really treat each other.
i was a big, big drum and bass fan - from way back when it used to be called jungle. give me a dark, deep and nasty bassline and i'm hapy all day long. a had the photek album you're talking about and i had a bukem one aswell. they were fine for when you were trying to get in a girl's pants at home but they weren't really my cup of tea.
a few of my mates were regular DnB djs and club promoters around liverpool in the 90s and early 00s. thems was the days.

Most definately true.
Me and most of me mates used to have decks and mix up stuff, like Ram records, andy c and Shimmon and all that stuff. When it was called Jungle. We used to go to a few raves and that, as you say they were the days.
But since I havent seen me mates for about five years now, and sold me decks to me Dad
I've lost touch with that music scene coupled with moving over here. And its great to reminice (sp) on you tube and find some of those tunes I used to like. Maybe one day I'll get a set of decks again just as a hobby, but the old dear sold about 200 of my proper old skool DnB records for 40 quid 
to some nomark and that also took the b.loody wind out of my sails too.
