Terminology - And explanations

I don't know if this has been done in the past or if this is the right place for it, but I do think there should be a place where people can ask what certain phrases mean.

For example if somebody joins the forum tomorrow and sees BigMick use his famous "delayed gazelle" statement they may not necessiarlly know what he's on about. So they can post it in here and hope someone explains it to them.

Also the abrivations of certain things like IMO or TBPH. To some they may be self explainority to others they may not be, so again it can be explained in here.

This is more a help topic than anything fooball related. It saves time rather than messaging someone.

Ah, the newkit folklore thread  :D

It's a good idea. You might edit and copy and paste the entries in your first post. (use other forum member's entries, their english is more accurate :D )

TBH = To be honest.
FWIW = For what is worth.
AFAICT = As Far AS I Can Tell
IIRC = If I Recall Correctly

Concepts:

Rotation = Evil. Belzebú, Satanas. Achtung. Verboten

Delayed gazelle = I think it was first used by Bigmick to reffer a bit sarcastically to the supposedly freshness that rotation gives at the end of the season.

The Clique = It's officially denied it exists, but people say it exists. Most people wouldn't know what it is.

WUM = Wind-Up Merchant
Wopdongs = WUMs that support teams we face in the Champions League and who invade our site after the draw is announced/right before the match looking to intimidate us with pictures of banners, flares, knives or their sisters :D

They can't be summarized, mate.  "The Real World" and "Will We Beat Blackpool?" are two threads that all new members must read from start to finish to understand the Newkit culture. :D

On a serious note, "Drummerphil Tributes and Rememberance" and "Hello My Wonderful Friends" are also must reads.
