Creating an xbox live team/clan - What do you reckon.

Right lads, I'm looking to create an Xbox Live team, as most know their are teams on the internet who have the team initials before their gamers tag, example is if I joined team VVV (veni vedi vici, www.teamvvv.com) my gamertag would be VVV PaulConUK so people would know I'm a member of their team. Problem being is that most of the top team out their only accept the BEST OF BEST and although I'm good on PGR I'm not in the top 100 YET.
If enough show interest I could setup a bulletin board where we could post stuff, it might sound a stupid idea but I'm sure we could get together at least 15 initial members and their are loads of others that could be recruited from Xbox Live, real friends, Live friends and that's without putting the team web address on live profiles, forums, etc.
The general concept of the team is not just going to LAN events or being on TV, just being part of a team/unit
What do you reckon?

I'm up for it.
I have [IRE] in front of my name, though. Most Yanks think I'm either German or English and sometimes they just don't have a clue. One time I told one of them that my accent was Irish and they laughed saying it was the funniest Irish accent they'd ever heard and didn't believe me. If they'd brains, they'd be dangerous.

Got into a team last night, one of the lads from Team Rezurection gave me a race and said I was good enough so I'm in, woo hoo.
Not enough people showed interest, sorry guys.
