Tony Blair has announced that he will be gone within a year.

He lost his own party with the debacle/disgrace of Iraq.

I am very happy now. :buttrock

paying the benefits for imigrants and asian layabouts.

also, paying the board for twisted morons like Iain Huntley to live in prison when executing him would make so much more sense.

i hate this goverment's policies.

will Gordon Brown do any different? Will he F*ck! There's no way he'll snub Bush and change our foreign policy, the immigration issues won't go away and the National Health's in terminal meltdown.
It's a personality battle that the country just happens to be the main loser in, nothing more than that. People will vote for them though.... They say that we get the Politicians we deserve.... Maybe there's some truth in that?

u actually beleive that? the majority of all tax goes on the army and the NHS, where billions upon billions are spent every year. The hospitals are worth it, but the cost of that bogus war in Iraq is astronomical.

It's a real mess.

Labour have pretty much run out of steam.

Blair basically committed career suicide when he chose to send British troops into Iraq and politically I don't really think he's accomplished much. The health service is inefficient and cumbersome. Too much power in this country is centralised. Crime and anti-social behaviour are unpunished. Estates are neglected. Judges are weak and lenient which destroys public confidence in the legal system. People are being taxed to death for inferior public services and OAP's are put in jail for non-payment of council tax (which is a wasted tax anyway since the local councils are largely ineffective).

Blair's government are tired and out of ideas. Prescott is a disgrace as Deputy PM (a position which should be abolished), Blair's cabinet are useless and new blood is neeeded. I'm not too impressed by Gordon Brown. The "dour Scottish accountant" image works fine for a Chancellor but not as the leader of a country. The Tories are a joke. Even they don't know what they stand for. Their big ideas recently have been to 1) visit a glacier 2) ride a bike 3) adopt a tree as the party symbol 4) watch David Cameron on a weblog. The Lib-Dems are a waste of time. They went from a ginger Crankie as their leader to Minger Campbell, age 184.
