Sky broadband - Anyone tempted?

Seems it costs you £40 to turn it on (a likely story) but saying as I'm paying £18 a month, it'll soon pay for itself.

I've got unmimited bandwidth and I'll keep my 2MB connection for that condition. I download a lot of stuff.

Posted: Sun Jul 23, 2006 9:01 pmapparently the sky software bundle includes a peer-to-peer thingy that shares your bandwidth with other users. the bloke who told me is an IT monkey and he says it's a bitch to remove

thats what i use to think. I have 2MB unlimited, but i don't honestly download 40 gig a month...at least not anymore.

Same here Jonny , BT however are lining up four and eight meg at no extra cost to users like us (apparently) .
