Foreign travel - What local things have you done

i have been talking to drummer, about my time in egypt, and the endless sheesha's i smoked with the local. I have drunk ''shy'' (luxor arabic for tea), and gowa (coffee).


what, if any, has anyone else done overseas, whilst living or visiting

eg: eaten wierd local food etc!!

I've had Bagels and Coffee in NYC, a cornish pasty in Cornwall, fish and chips from the chippy on the high street and also a Curry from Indian people at my local curry house :)

Ive eat frogs legs, snails and rabbit in France.... all reasonably tasty!

I followed local custom in Zimbabwe and sh'agged a couple of African birds , come to think of it I did the same in Mozambique Tanzania and Kenya .  :D

No he aint, but the birds in africa have, and its bad news  :D

Jonnymac flew off to Thailand today. I'm sure there will be a small corner of a commode in an ale house in Bangkok that will forever be for England after John has been there. :D

As for myself, I fly to Boston on the 4th November and then on to New York. Can't wait. :blues:

Sang som - alcoholic beverage in Thailand ,drunk from small buckets its quite a potent drink.

Also a Pigs leg and foot in Thailand ,very nice ,but didnt I have the trots the next day :D
