For my fellow movie buffs, the remake of the classic King Kong, is due for release in December, the film looks awesome, and the effects outta this world. Being made by the same guy who directed the Lord of the Rings Trilogy..

Here's a trailer clip to wet the appetite.. defo one to watch on the BIG screen  :) Enjoy !

Peter Jackson has definitely lost it .....................

He wins an oscar for his last film then his next one does not

Sound familiar to some RB posts        :D

It does look awesome though   I think King Kong has his right eye missing? ???

peter jackson should just give up now, and leave movies like this to better directors. I would probably be alot better if it was directed by someone else.

one of my all time favourite films is the 1933 original of king kong. the later remake was ok but nothing special so i'm really hoping this one turns out good - i'm actually much happier with peter jackson doing it than some tosser like spielberg. hopefully it'll be a decent movie and not just some special effects wankathon bonanza.

Someone above said that Peter jackson has lost the plot!!!
He lost the plot long ago,has anyone seen some of his more unheard of earlier stuff?
braindead and bad taste are 2 that spring to mind, probably 2 of the craziest gory films i have ever seen!!
Pure cult horror comedy genius though i reckon! :nod

And i hope theey dont kill the monkey in this newest remake.it mad me cry when i was a lad

:D if anyone had to direct a 3Hr+ mythology, 3 times  I bet one could plead insanity, sainly  :D

Sometimes the big blockbusters can disappoint.. I went to see the war of the worlds, expecting to be disappointed, but enoyed it, for the affects and the way the story was carried (although how that family 'all' survived is beyond me lol) at an emotional level.

The trailer of KK really sells the film well.. but I feel it's good to feel a little excited before we all start knocking what it might be like.. surely it can't as bad as Guy Ritchie's Revolver  :D

BTW Barry if he lives he'll eat all the natives of New York .. Now that might not be a bad thing ay
