Nintendo's next generation console, the Revolution, which will be released sometime over the next year, will be backwards compatible with all Nintendo games and systems, so even first generation Nintendo games of the 1980s will work, as well as SNES, N64 and Gamecube games.

Its a disk you load into the Xbox bios, so when you start it up you get a menu, either play an xbox game, or play from self installed emulators, thats how I can play them.

did anyone ever play a football game on the snes called fever pitch? it was absolutely mint.

there were basically no rules. most players had special moves. there were bargers (who just ran through everyone), leapers (who jumped over tackles), blasters (with a thunderbolt shot), benders (with a curling shot) and divers (who would dive anywhere on the pitch to win a penalty or free kick).

it was so funny. if one of the leapers trie to leap over a tackle you could volley him in mid air. you could also use flying headbutts off the ball.  :D

Ok, if you, ahem, "own" the licences to old SNES games and either your SNES no longer works or your game is broken you can find the ROMS to pretty much every SNES game ever on the net for, er, ahem, "free" download. :p

BTW, CGGY, I don't believe you when you say that you have a PS2 emulator......as far as I know there is no proper PS2 emulator available that will properly emulate the PS2. There are one or two beta emulators for the PS2 that will play one or two games, no more.

Whats your emulator called?

While we are at it, Amiga emulation has some cracking games as well.

Yeah you can get emulators but it's not the same as playing it through the TV on a 'real' Super Nintendo, yeah I could get my Xbox chipped but I don't wanna cos I mainly play Xbox Live  :)

Paul, I'm getting me one of those handheld PS2's when they come out.  Pro Evo 4 on the move.  I'm still sh!t at it though.  I only play it on 3 stars.

Jay, a mate of mine plays it on 7 stars and can wipe the floor with any team on it.

When's it out over here do you know?
