Barça Murph: Getafe 4-0 Barcelona.

Harsh, very harsh, what the fúck happened. Getafe is indeed a team that presses well, have very well worked the set pieces situations, and have bloody tough workers in their team, but they struggle to make goals.

Haven't seen the match, but wtf happened? Getafe made it to the final.

It's on Sky Sports right now.

Hilarious stuff.

If Manhattan says it's hilarious, then it's hilarious. I'll download it.

Huck, I must admit you have a point. :) Yes, he's a softy, and irregular, but also has touches of quality, great inner-deep passes, and some excellent touches and finnishings like in the Bilbao game.

I must admit I'm biased a bit due to him being an archenemy player :)

They didn't care about last night match?? As I said before, all this reminds me something...Intercontinental Cup became Toyota Cup when big clubs were defeated. The King's Cup now becomes the third competition when Barça is defeated. European SuperCup was going to decide which team was the real dominator in Europe but after Sevilla won it, it wasn't but a summer pre-league match... If my memory doesn't betray me, Valdes (Barça's goallie) said not long ago that the King's Cup was more important than even Champions League this year cos, after all, they had won CL the year before...words, of course, pronounced after the defeat against LFC...so, please, again: don't make the same mistakes that, during years, you have been criticizing about Real Madrid behaviour. Last night's match was the biggest ridiculous in last 3 years for Barcelona, and if the Cup is not worthy at all, I still don't know wtf are you doing in semis, getting the team tired for the Liga, end of.

I agree. Whoever follows la liga a bit knows things are not calm in Can Barça, and that they need to save the season, so under no realistic scenario Barcelona would be throwing away a semifinal.

The problem for them is that at the start of the season they had the goal of winning several competitions, and as the season final approaches they only have la liga left, and FWIW, they don't seem to be with the best of confidence right now.

what a game Madrid 3-1 down at Half Time. Pandiani (3 goals).

Second half madrid score 3 goals and a last minute winner 4-3 what a match.

1 Real Madrid  66 pts from 34 games
2 Barcelona 65 pts from 33 games
3 Sevilla 64 pts from 34 games
4 Valencia 59 pts from 33 games

It's very close.

A while back we talked in this forum about how things are not calm in Can Barça when things do not go so well. The protests the other day, and the insults in the training sessions are a proof of that.

But the Liga title is on the stake, and the soci must focus on supporting the team now: There are things that must be discussed only in summer.

I'm sorry of what's going on in Barcelona because of the traditional and authentic socis like you Barça Murph, but now you'll have to bear with all the bandwaggon supporters that are jumping off the wagon.

Good luck, in my book, I'll always preffer Barcelona rather than Madrid.

Wow amazing how Capello seems to have hauled Real back - wonder if Barca's fall is linked to the CL loss to us?

Does this mean Capello is safe for time being at Real?

What really gets to me is the Madrid bias on $ky just because Beckham plays for them. You could almost here the commentators creaming themselves that Madrid had gone top. I've noticed that they seem to always argue that whenever something goes against madrid that the officials have got it wrong. Admittedly the way that Barca have played this season they don't deserve to win it the way they have done in the past couple of years but Sevilla have done well. Yet against Madrid last week again you could almost here the commentators willing madrid t win the game.

Hopefully next season we can look forward to a less biased level of coverage.

Sabre, i think the stick the players got arriving back at the airport and again at training was needed. The fans felt more than let down by the teams performance at Getafe, and now the La Liga title is on the line too. But i agree that they now have to back the team at the Camp Nou tonight. When the crowd is behind them and Barca play well, there is not a team on the planet that can match them. Sadly this season hasn't seen enough of that :(  Now is the time to show we're true Campions, and dig in and fight for the trophy.

Rushie, pretty much everyone at Sky is pro madrid. Sometimes i can't even listen to the commentary as they talk utter garbage. It has nothing to do with Becks either, so don't expect it to change next season.
