If you weren't an aussie i would take that bait but hey what do you now about Footie (or soccer for you socceroos) at least there was a time you could brag about cricket or rugby but hey (ashes and worldcup) i guess we kicked your :censored:

Carragher is hardly a holding midfielder, he's got the defesnive ability but his distribution and ability to hold the ball isn't good neough to play there IMO.

Rio is better on the ball and would probably be better suited. TBH though neither of them are the solution to the problem.

Anyone else notice the mascot that michael owen had at the start of the game. He was at least a half an inch taller than owen and only looked about two-three years younger. :laugh:

Yeah it was a quality strike. My only concern was that yet again an england keeper getting caught off of his line again. At least it weren't a lob. :;):

Great goal by Crouch,Stevie n Carra both had decent games aswell.But why the heck does Sven pick Hargreaves over Carrick.Carrick is a better defender,passer and overall better player.I want to see the Liverpool boys do well for England but with performances England have no chance of winning the world cup.

Walcott proved once again that he's just the English Cisse, he should not be representing his country when he hasn't played at the top level. Sven once again proved how incompetent he is, Fat Frank showed us all how (s)hit he is, as did Rio.

Crouch was good and Gerrard in the end it was Liverpool 3-1 Hungary. Oh and this England team are a joke, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Holland would of killed tyhis team off about 7-0.

I'm an England fan but this team is a joke.
