Olympique lyonnais - What do you think about lyon?

I'd just want you to tell me what you really think about Lyon?
Do you know the team, the players, what are your feelings about Olympique Lyonnais?
Do you think that this team IS, WILL BE or NEVER WILL BE a great european team?

Lyon était dans le top 5 des meilleures équipes d'Europe cette saison. Juninho est extraordinaire Malouda, Govou et Abidal sont des joueurs de premier plan européen, mais perso, je suis fan inconditionnel de Mik Essien! Je suis prêt à payer de ma poche pour le voir à la Juve celui là!
L'année prochaine sera peut-être plus difficile si Le Guen doit vendre ceci dit!

Lyon have apparently approached Houllier about the vacant manager job. Lyon play very attractive football, getting Houllier would mean a complate opposite.
Lyon do have some very good players, but I don't rate Govou, he is an O.K player, that is all. Malouda and Essien are very good.

Only know about Essien to be honest.
He will probably play in the Premiership next season and if I'm not mistaken, Man Utd once had him on trial there as a youngster and they let him go.

Gerrard Houllier tried to sign Essien for Liverpool for £4million a couple of years ago when Essien left Bastia but for one reason or another he missed out and Essien went to Lyon instead.
Looks a top player to me.
Juninho also looks handy, as does Maluada, and Wiltord did really well since he has gone there.
Sidney Gouvu made some waves 2 years ago but he has fallen back a bit.

I know O.Lyon very closely. We've played against them 4times in the last 5 years. (Nevermind the results) 
Coupet, Edmilson, Cacapa, Essien, Juninho, Govou, Revelliere, Malouda, Wiltord are the names i can remember. And there is a very young-skillful player, he scored the last goal against us in Lyon(4-2)
And, Metek, you have really good supporters.
