For the first time in quite awhile,there is a new leader.Mike1222 has just knocked Dalglish from the top spot, only on goal difference;both being on 124 points.3rd,4th and 5th places are taken by Boo United,stackman and lili respectively..all three having 118 points.Priv is a further point behind in 6th and laurie back in 7th only 8 points off the lead.Supersub and football first both have 113 points and 8th and 9th places with bazwill taking 10 spot.

good to see a different name at the top even if it is not me. And Charlton helped me out over nite as well giving me the 2-1 result giving me another 3 points on Dalglish who has set the standards for 2004 but will it be the same in 2005?. But what a weekend for Mike1222, 15points i think he got that has to be a record Supersub?.

A disasterous xmas for Dalglish in the premiership competition,ends in a drop from joint 1st place down to a position in 6th spot on 133 points.The lead is now held by mike1222 on 139 points with boo united and lili in 2nd and 3rd respectively ;both on 135 points.Supersub climbs upto 4th,5 points off the top with stackman in 5th.Dalglish in 6th.football first takes the 7th spot with priv back in 8th.11 points off the lead in 9th place is laurie and in 10th is bazwill.A 6 points further back in 11th is LFC#1.
With another 20 games coming up over the next few days,the lead can still change just as dramatically as it did this xmas.

Happy new year to all. this comp is a lot of fun and Laurie and i have be saying to each other that we cant believe how close everyone at the top or people who have played the majority of games,how close it still is. I thought for sure that some fluky t****** would be miles in front with everyone chasing.But its set up nicley for the second half of the season so good luck all and go the mighty Reds.

The New Years Day fixtures result in another change at the top,with Boo United replacing mike1222 as leader on 148 points.mike1222 drops down to 3rd,one place below supersub who moves into 2nd 1 point off the lead.4th place is taken by football first andlili drops down to 5th.Down 1 place to 6th goes stackman and in 7th sees long time prem leader Dalglish,who has had a disasterous xmas and new year so far.8th,9th and 10th positions are taken by priv,laurie and bazwill,respectively.7_kewell moves up 3 places to 11th after a 12 point gain.Jan Cuelemans stays at 12th with LFC#1 dropping to 13th.Kenco continues the steady climb and after scoring 10 points moves up 3 places to 14th.carl army drops down 2 places to 15th followed by addicted norwegian in 16th and ivortheinjun in 17th.laza,adebisi and bejoy8 stay put in 18th,19th and 20th places respectively.
All could change again over the next couple of days,so make sure you get your predictions in.
