I didnt rate the Robben guy at all and from what I seen at the weekend he is proving me wrong ,he was  awesome but one good pearl doesnt make a necklace or however the saying goes.  Bring on Nunez!!

Robben was ****** in the euros.  He spent the tournament diving looking for free kicks.....but hes still better than Kewell.

Robben is definitely world class. How come we don't get players like this...I know, no money. I think during the GH era, our scouting staff was as bad as ManU...

Robben is not world class, not by some way. In my book you have to do it week in week out at every level over years.

He is too young - and he has not done anything much for Holland.

I think Age have nothing to do with being world class or not. Talent does. As for Alonso, I like this fella but he is not world class yet but has the potential to become one.:)

Hey he is a good player and we cannot avoid that, but its true to be called world class he has to do it on every stage consistently!

Robben had in fact been consistent everywhere he played. Otherwise, he wouldn't be worth this much. Football is a team sport, a good player might be able to steal you a game or two but it requires a whole team to win championship. A player is world class even if he plays for a bad team. You either have the talent or you don't. Even Zidane or Ronaldino doesn't perform well every game. Its just human nature because its humanly impossible to be the best player game in and game out. I think Robben just hasn't have enough exposure for some people to realize he is world class. To me, Robben was the best left midfielder in Euro2004 this year. That should mean something I guess.:D

Don't put more than three Dutch players together, though Paul, as they'll form into opposing camps and start kicking lumps out of each other!
