Exactly, it's a rumour. Speculative sh!t that is of no relevance now.

I haven't heard any rumours about him signing for liverpool, we'll start one if it makes you happy  :eyebrow

The reason I started this topic was because I think the lad is quality and is the kind of player IMO we should be going for.

Now if this doesn't interest you read another topic

The transfer window has only recently finished.

This thread is of no relevance now. We are playing games, we know the guy is quality, it has been discussed before endlessy.

We can't do anything until January, why bring it up now?

Bring it up on New years eve.

Or, put it in the Premiership general discussion area.

This is a general discussion page, so I wanted to discuss Richards just like you want to moan about it. Yes the transfer window is over but it doesn't mean no-one is aloud to discuss players who are currently playing well. There is another topic about Gareth Barry called "Letter pages in the Echo" which is obviously similar but about Barry why don't you moan about that aswell.

unfortunately, it's almost nailed on that chelsea will price everybody else out of the market when it comes to signing this kid. he'd cost £15m+. what's our record transfer fee for a defender? agger at £5m?

It's a revival of silly season, the transfer window is finished. Let it be.

If you want to discuss other Premiership players, do so in the Premiership discussion part of the forum.

This one has been done to death already.

If you open new topics every time a player plays well who might possibly be a decent signing for us, it would be endless.

Good player and one I'd like to see at the club.

Lets be realistic. City will not be able to hold on to him for more than 2 years, unless they become an overnight league winning giant. Which does leave us in a good position, we have been looking for a decent RB to give Steve Finnan a run for his money. Micah Richard seems like a quality choice but can we stave off the interest from the other three?
