I have to agree with Doeboy. If you have to find another thread to put your post in how would people know about something like Liverpool making a bid? Browsing at threads seeing something like 'SWP-Is he right for us?' isn't going to tell you that we have made a bid for him is it.

I hate having to sieve through pages of posts on old threads. It's stupid.

It's a rumour, and should be consigned to the rumour thread.

I think new members should be banned from starting new threads for the first 200 posts. All these noobs keep starting new threads for no reason.
