Lamps to become the highest-paid player in the world
CHELSEA have opened talks to make Frank Lampard the highest paid player in the world on £140,000 a week.

He's not even the best player at Chelsea, let alone the Premiership or the world. FFS.
Obviously poor little Frank needs to feel wanted now that Chelsea have acquired a far better all-round midfielder in Ballack.

Actually I may have another explanation.
I recently met with some Chelsea people while they were over here. I was told that Mori has a clause in his contract that states that his wages will always match the highest paid player at the club.
I am not sure if this is common knowledge, but I beleive it because the source was good, and it sounds like something that egotistical cock-stain would demand.
So to summarise, not only is Mori getting bum-love from Fat Frank, he is getting well paid as well.

That's the wrong question if you ask me. What you should be asking is does Lampard deserve those wages? or would he recieve that wage at any other club.
We must remmeber as in the ridicously high transfer fees Chelsea are willing to pay, the are an anomaly. I don't but the theory that LFC needs an Ambromovich type backer to be successfull. We need investment yes, but we don't NEED that much.
