I think everyone is in danger of over egging the pudding with Rooney. He hardly set the premiership on fire last year, admitedly it was for a ****** side but even so I would like to see him bang 25 goals b4 i was convinced he is the real deal and not just a lardy blue nose with a bad attitude.

this whole rooney saga just proves how overpriced english players are. rooney scores 4 goals against croatia and switzerland and is valued at 50m. baros scores 5 goals against the likes of holland, germany and denmark and is valued at about 6-8m. where's the logic?
