Real to buy gravesen - Big implications for lfc

Guillem Ballague of sky sports reckons this is a formality and so does some bluenose that was on 'your on skysports' if anyone was watching. this could guarantee us 4th imo as it would f*ck up evertons whole season. i think gravesen has been the key to evertons great season and without him they'd be very light in midfield. i think that we would benefit more than real out of this transfer cos they dont need a gravesen. he'll probly loose his place after a while

And with all the teams below us except spurs not bangin form it'd be ours for the taking and if we beat the scum which i think we will then we could even get 3rd tho that might e pushing it...

Anyone have any other source on this...

It's been rumored for a while now. 2 million apparently, given the player is out of contract in June. Actually think he's a quality player that we could have considered given the fact that he's out of contract but for the interest from Real.

That could also dull Real's intention of taking Gerrard yet.

It's funny, Graveson got mentioned as a potential transfer target for us a few months back on here and the hoots of derision were deafening. "Not enough class" "you must be joking" etc etc. In terrace parlence, its all gone quiet over there since Madrid and Man U have started chasing him. I totally agree with Lynds that Everton will miss him terribly. He is a very very good player.

It will deffo make a difference to Everton if he leaves not just through losing a class player but it will effect their team spirit and confidence

I hope he signs for them, they improve beyond all recognition, win the liga nad the Champions League and he is hailed as a great success and the rep[lacement for Makelele.

Then Stevie G is at least off their list.

He hasnt done nothing all the years hes been at everton, apart from this season as his contract was coming to an end this season, so he must have sh#t the bed and thought I better start doing something, he actually only looks good as the rest of evertons squad are awful.
Bit like us last season when Stevie shined above the rest of our players, everton will be like a morris minor now the wheels have fell off and they will fall down the table as we rise.
I cant help but be bitter towards them as you think they where the best team in the world the way they go on about being 2nd now 4th, you would think they had always been top flight and playing in the CL year in year out.
But I suppose that hatred comes from always living in the background shadows of the best team on merseyside Liverpool and Liverpool reserves. :D
