Whats your opinion? - Jermaine Defoe

Before I go on, don't bother giving me all the bollox about this topic, I'm sick of hearing it! 
Now, what's your opinion on Defoe? We all know what he's capable of. He's quick with bag's of skill and can finish well. At the moment he's being left out of Spurs' starting 11 and there's a few rumour's going around that he's quite p*ssed off and want's out.
Do you think we should make a move for him come January?

If we do sell Cisse we would need another striker with pace. With this in mind I think Defoe could be an excellent signing. I'm not too sure if he has the right attitude for Rafa though, as he is not exactly a team player...

yes....he still young and on learning curve.under rafa, average player can be a world beater

Initial thought - "No"
At the risk of sounding like David "I'm a pratt" Pleat , he does a good job, works hard and can show flashes of promise, but he's not shown anything 'special' enough to wear the red shirt IMO.
We are Liverpool - first and foremost we demand class upfront
There are big boots to fill - Keegan, King Kenny, Rushie, Fowler, Owen etc. Defoe is not in the same league.

Yes as Defoe could easily be a 20 goal epl striker for us.

If Jol at Tottenham doesn't play him then why should we? He hasn't been bagging in the goals for them and thats why he's on the bench
