:laugh: , knowing rafa it could happen . I'd expect at least 3 to 5 changes and keane on the bench , he played against chelsea for formality's sake , he's still injured . Good that we're not rushing nando back

Bad Scenario: Liverpool lose and Chelsea win.

Chelsea won't lose against Hull.

However, Liverpool could lose against Portsmouth, but I see a draw here. As Jimmy said, Adams will go with what he knows and I think he's correct. Portsmouth will defend like Liverpool did on the weekend, two deep rows of four all the way.

I don't think Keane will start and Fernando will be out, so Liverpool's attack will be extremely limited. So, unless they can get a luckly deflection like Sunday or it falls to Kuyt in the 6 yard box, there might not be any goals in this game at all. Of course Gerrard or Xabi might get a blammo from 20 yards.

A draw won't be terrible, but it'll take from the Chelsea result.

Personally, I'd like to see Babel up front as a second striker, with Kuyt (the only real option left in lieu of Torres and Keane) in a 4-4-2 formation. Liverpool will need to attack these feckers from the off.

After sunday's result, I can't see our team taking anything for granted with this match. Pompey are a tricky side, but we are at Anfield. I'm more concerned about Spurs at the weekend. If we have decent results in our next two matches, then we have a few easyish games that should see us augment our place at the top of the league.

there was a great bit on five live the other night about Sammy lee and his team talks.
they had a bit on SG saying that when Sammy talks before the game and at half time, he make you feel like you can take on the world.
JC said that Sammy has had such a good impact at the club you can feel the history of the club walk in with him.

i hope he is on form tonight as it going to be a hard game.

I reckon Kuyt is relishing the oportunity to play centre forward.
I know there are a few Kuyt bashers on here, sure I may have let frustration be known toward him too, but he is the type of player who will dig in and be very passionate for the shirt.
He has been on the score sheet over the past few weeks, so I feel he will be confident to lead the line.

I have him as my captain in the fantsay foootball, so I have faith in him for the game tonight.

I'm 2nd in the newkit league, so come on Kuyt, prove your might!!

apparently glen johnson and sol campbell are both doubts for portsmouth which is good news
