This tie has Juventus 2005 written all over it for me. At that time Juventus were pi$$ing the Italian League and we well and truly blitzed them in the first 30 minutes at Anfield. They didn't know what had hit them and couldn't cope. I can see something similar this time around.

Here we go then... everbody writes us off... we're lucky to beat Inter Milan by 1 goal over the two legs.  We get Barcelona in the next round everybody writes us off and stuff a 3-1 victory at the nou camp... next round we play against one of the English teams and stuff a win and then we play Real Madrid/AC/Lyon in the final and win on penalties... you know the story.     Lucky lucky lucky scouse bastards

Didn't Inter lost their first game against Fenerbahce in group stage? ???
But after that, they are doing really good.
Never mind, we are Liverpool. We're afraid of no one. :buttrock

This is going to be a tough one.  Inter have a tight defense and it will be difficult to score against them.  These two games are not going to be pretty.

we play our best matches when we're the underdog in europe - think chelsea, think juve, think barca, think milan....

inter will be gutted they've drawn us when it could've been celtic, olympiakos etc  don't forget we've reached the final in 2 of the last 3 seasons - we are the team to beat

Why? ???

If he plays anything like he did for Juve against us he's not going to score against us if we play 20 matches never mind 2.

Inter....no problem. IF Rafa picks a settled and balanced squad...we should go through.

Then....hope we get the winners of porto vs Schalke in the quarter final.....  :D

All things considered I'm happy with that draw, could have been a LOT worse. Sevilla, Barcelona and Chelski will probably be happiest

the Mancs will get them. Might as well give those cnuts a bye.

We'll do Inter, and I agree with St Mike - what is the fuss over Ibrahimovic, he's a lazy prima donna. They'll be sitting there worrying about Torres.

And Kuyt of course

:D
