Mauricio Pellegrino? wasn't he the bloke in Naked Gun who was the opera singer in the stadium at the end. Leslie Nielson took his place and filled in as a diabolical replacement all the time using it as a cunning ruse to search amongst the crowd for the bad guys. Oh how we laughed. No really we did. Actually, now i think of it it was Enrico Pellazo, yeh thats it. Don't suppose we're signing him are we?

Deportivo La Coruna striker Diego Tristan is attracting Premiership interest ahead of the winter market.
The Spanish international is being tracked by Tottenham, Fulham and Liverpool, among several English clubs ahead of the winter market opening on Saturday.

actually i have another rumor
Paulo Negro is also being linked with a move to Anfield after rejecting a new deal to stay at Lazio. The Italian international defender will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign.

this is getting crazy now. the sports press know which clubs are in the market for players and which clubs may be selling players. all they have to do now is randomly connect them and - voila! - a story.

Seriously though, wait until big Zak joins the first team rankings. Reminds me of Sammi in his more agile days, Whitbread will be our future in my opinion...i sure hope so.
