Would I be correct in saying that the last time West Ham won anything of substance was in 1980 when they won the F.A. cup. In fact the biggest highlight of alot of West Ham supporters lives was the '85/'86 team that topped the league for while before Christmas of that season when McAvennie and Cottee struck up a partnership.......but they still couldn't stop Liverpool winning the double.
